L3 pyramid set today, arms felt OK after struggling a lot recently.

Blend ride. Spent a fair bit of time at the front in the absence of the fast guys, and one of the other boys openly admitting he was tapering for Saturdays group ride since the boys are heading for the hills. Tapering on a training ride to be ready for another training ride must be a uniquely Roadie thing.

5 minute L3 efforts today, Just Eddie and I again. All the other boys have gone ocean paddling I suspect.

Into work. After putting up with this creaking sound for weeks I finally put new pedals on the bike. Somehow I bought "Light touch" pedals which are way too loose, my foot moves around whenever I stand up to pedal.

After my last three week break from running I realised I needed to find new ways to fit in to the schedule. Hopefully next year I will have fewer site days but 2-3 days a week is killing me at the moment.

Ate a light dinner then went for a run after the girls were asleep. Deliberately planned a short one and felt pretty good for it.
