Awesome ride through the Pines and South Carters with Blake. Rode from the farm stay to the pines, did a quick lap (or three of Aunt Lou) then off to South Carters where we hit each trail at least twice. doing trail repeats was great for my confidence and I was riding better at the end than I have been all year.

Of course that confidence didn't help on the way home via the pines when I was trying to not use the brakes at all, had one high speed excursion into the bushes.....

Oh, and it absolutely chucked it down while we were out there. But given it hailed both times we rode down here last year just rain was a plus!

Postervals with the boys, until I got dropped just after the turn around.

I was cruising back upriver daydreaming for a bit. Then I was swimming. No idea what happened there. The only plus was that I managed my first deep water re-entry for real (on my third attempt)

Water wasn't that cold at least.
