w/u for the Vic relays

Orienteering 42:00 [3] 6.0 km (7:00 / km)

Leg 2 of the Vic relays. Wind was blowing a gale and as Brimbank park is not far from the airport it was entertaining watching planes trying to land into the wind. Some gave up.
Run was pretty basic park O but did include 2 trips up the powerline hill that gave me bad memories of the many AV cross country races that went up that hill.
Ran from 3 to 5 to 4 to 5. What a dick. Struggled the whole run as i did not feel great. Had to stop going up the hill to let my HR recover.

Hung tapes for Judy at Whims Holes. Then the dog an I went exploring again. This map is part of the Old Karuc-a-ruc crk map from the 80's but Judy prefers to call it Histerical Marker. There are 2 signs to monuments on the map saying Historical Marker. One is to the ruins of a eucalyptus refinery and the other refers to the machine known as a whim used for mining in the area.
