Orienteering 22:00 [3] 2.9 km (7:35 / km)

Sprint distance course at Monash Uni. Probably 1 tricky control most of the rest were left or right choices. As is usual with sprint courses there was some confusing controls. I was lucky to assume correctly at 4 but it was a bit of a guess which part of the wall it was on. Sliding glass doors caused some discussion. If they didnt want them as a route choice then an impassable wall symbol or OOB would have been less confusing than a purple X. Another control where people reached over a thin OOB area to punch also caused angst.
I had a sore achilles tendon and walked the first 3 controls but found I was able to jog very slowly without making it worse. It was fun competing with David Night.

Orienteering 32:00 [3] 4.1 km (7:48 / km)

SIS at Latrobe Uni. Map is a huge improvement on last time we ran here. The fun part was navigating on 2 different levels. A dashed line indicated moving to another level. A solid line meant staying on that level. Was quite tricky in places and made route choices hard.
Ran Ok but at ct13 my leg began to be painful so walked th last 4 controls.

Cycling 39:00 [3] 15.5 km (2:31 / km)

On road bike again with several laps of the Enfield Farm Estate. Warm but ok. A lot of it is in the shade and at least there is no traffic.

Monday Nov 20 #

Mountain Bike 1:05:00 [3] 14.6 km (4:27 / km)

Exploring some tracks I found on Northern end of Kuruc-a-ruc Crk. Predicted a track direction but was completely wrong and got a bit lost. Went to do 45min but ended up doing a bit more. Track of the area can be seen on Garmin Connect
