Orienteering 15:00 [3] 3.0 km (5:00 / km)

Pairs sprint at Royal Park. I was paired with Don Fell and could not shake him off so it was a real tussle. We had 2 diamond shapes loops with one of the legs down the middle of the diamond. The odd thing was your pair did it backwards so not all legs the same. Made a mistake in each of the loops. Pushing harder than I am capable of to catch up with Don I navigated from 9 to 10. The only problem was I was actually at 8 so missed 9 totally. Imagine my state of mind when told at the end I had MP. Starting to get really embarrassed now.

Orienteering 14:00 [3] 2.8 km (5:00 / km)

After lots of advice from many as to how to complete a sprint I departed the start determined to check everything. Achilles quite sore but was ok until the last 2 controls. Navigated well with no mistakes checking codes even when I didnt need to. Or so I thought. Finished just behind Chris and heard them say "mispunch" to him. Imagine my shock when they said "you have Misspunched too Roch" Well fck where can I go and hide so no one will notice. The only no I didnt check was 7. It was on a fence within in sight of my control which was also on a fence. No excuses just being a complete dick.

Orienteering 15:00 [3] 2.8 km (5:21 / km)

Melb Sprint at Yarra Valley Grammar. Fairly easy course with not a lot of route choice other than the left or right ones. Ran ok and was more competitive. Seem to feel better in the AM. Got a bit excited near the end and ran from 11 to 13. Went right past 12 so another MP. Even a bigger dick

Orienteering 14:00 [3] 2.5 km (5:36 / km)

Sprint in Melton. A really well set and fun course. Navigated well but still slow and non competitive. Achilles started to hurt. Ran through a court yard 3 times and saw Sue taking photos. Was so busy tying to put her off I ran from 7 to 9 and missed 8 on the edge of said court. So guess what dick MP again.

Orienteering 16:00 [3] 2.8 km (5:43 / km)

Sprint at Monash. Ok and knee was painless for a change. Was a bit slow and made all the obvious mistakes. Some issues with the controlling. One control was placed in an out of bounds area and not where it was described to be. A typical in and out trap with an extra building in the circle. An un mapped fence that caused some issues.

Orienteering 20:00 [3] 3.0 km (6:40 / km)

This was probably the most difficult and technical sprint I have ever done. Having run in the AM I think iwas a bit slower and more sluggish. So fat and slow. MP as I rushed and entered an area that was exactly the same as 2 other areas on the map. Did not check code so what a dick

Hanging tapes for Judy on Kuruc-A-ruc Crk. Lots of walking.
The March Flies have stopped flying so able to run near home again

Went to James's training at FU. Jogged and walked around a training exercise.
