Orienteering 1:22:00 [3] 6.0 km (13:40 / km)

Autumn series at Borhoney Gurk. Was really quite tired from the start because of Sat. Didnt help by doing a 180 from the start and running to the bottom of the steep hill before I worked it out. By the time I got back up the hill to the start I had lost 5min. Snuck passed the start to avoid any further embarrassment. Once I got over my funk and decided to continue I started to enjoy the navigation a lot by about control 3. Was very slow up the hills but in the complex mining had lots of control with 3rd fastest spits. Made silly 5min error going to 17. Just tired and careless I think.
Great course in a great area. Really fun. Wish I was fitter.

Orienteering 1:50:00 [3] 7.0 km (15:43 / km)

Training at Chapel Flat set by Fredo. Offered to put out controls so did 21 of 46 controls. Got very tired as it was overgrown considerably from the original mapping in 2015. Some areas still really good but the creek crossings were really hard work. Started to struggle at 17 and was caught by most of the trainees.
