Running (Trails) 48:00 [3]

Hot and lots of bugs in spite of lots and lots of bug repellant. Mark wanted to do Alex's Forest-X so noon was the only time I could run. Perhaps not the best choice, but it wasn't too bad as long as I was in the shade in the forest. Running felt good and I actually enjoyed being out there.

Biking (Road) 35:00 [3]

To Rocky Woods and back home. Had promised Alex and Ed to help out streaming the course for the Forest-X, but it was so buggy that we decided to call it a day before even starting.

Aerobics 50:00 [3]

Stopped by the gym on my way to work. 15 min each of stationary bike and the first elliptical; 10 min each on the remaining two apparatuses (ran out of time).

Running (Trails) 43:00 [3]

Finally a run that felt a little more like it should. The kids' summer camp had an evening pick-nick on the beach in Hale so I ran from there once the pick-nick was over. Ended up running some trails I haven't been to in a while so it was great with some variety even though some stretches were quite overgrown (and I had to wade through poison ivy to cross one stream). There was also an area where I first thought the trees had been cleared for development, but I later realized were flooded by a new beaver dam. There are already two active beaver lodges along my regular running loop so no lack of beavers in these woods.

Note

Had hoped to run during my day off work, but Lukas had a fever so he was home with me all day. And then Mark had other things to do in the evening so no time for running.
