Mountainbiking 40:00 [3]

Hale had opened their trails for mountain biking again so I went for the triathlon loop. The chain ended up derailing in a downhill, though, and I almost went flying as the chain got jammed. I managed to get it out, but a segment was twisted and couldn't fit into its path so I had to walk home. And I was of course at the furthest point from home :)

The weather was luckily sunny and nice so a rather pleasant walk back. And I could at least roll in the downhills even though I couldn't pedal.

At Rocky Woods. Had promised to pick up a left-behind QR code from our event last fall, but didn't have time until now so took the advantage of running the brown course. Feeling old. The right knee is not really hurting, but there is an uncomfortable stab every time I push off making the running quite unenjoyable so did more walking than running. Scared up an owl (barred?) that ended up landing in a tree just in front of me allowing a good view.

5x5 min. While not easy, it felt much better than time I ran. Even the knee was feeling better. And so nice with the daylight savings time.
