From home to the lake and back, usual 5k warmup. This time felt quite good, not the fastest run, but closer to the last year times.

Night run on Iron horse trail from Danville with FMS folks. Wonderful coldish weather, felt perfectly.
Had to skip dinner.

Discovered new beer, something made in Thailand.
Taste was good, but had tremendous headache in the morning, not sure if it related to the beer.

Night run from home to the lake and back, to keep blood running. Despite being tired after Sunday races, felt better than the one i did on Saturday.

Easy run warm up/down 50:00 [3] 7.5 km (6:40 / km) +100m 6:15 / km

Complete bs - start was 2+km from registration, and they didn't have white maps. Presumably, registration had to supply one, but they didn't. Switched to yellow (took last 2 maps) and Eglute walk with girls cruel course - 180m climb, 4.0km for yellow (and 165/3.8km for white) is way to much for 7-8 years old.
So, ran the the start, than back to the registration grab my staff, than back to the start.
Another friends were not allowed to register because they were 2 min late (they drove 70 miles one way only realize that it was for nothing...). Strange things happening lately.

Blue course in Brioness, easy technically, but hard physically. Lot of fences with new barber wire.
