I pace intervals, 4x400, 1:32, 1:32, 1:30, 1:29. with 1min rest in between.

Would be easy if not the agave induced injuries - sheens were very painful, like normal injury. On the bright side pain almost got away in the morning.

Orienteering race 2:00:31 [4] *** 7.9 km (15:15 / km) +400m 12:10 / km
16c shoes: Inov 330
Blue, Day 2.
Had problems in the same technical area where controls #1 and #2 were placed on the day 1. Spent some 2min pulling out needles out of my feet and right shoe - accidentally stepped on the cactus... Getting to #7 would be easy, but lost trail and mistook clearing for it. Attempt to cross reentrant following fence wasn't successful at all - opted to climb back up the hill and not try to jump across 2 meters cliffs in the stream bed, which worked quite well thankfully trail was quite distinct in this place.
Would be not so bad race, except that grab wrong map at the map exchange and when figured out this decided to run the rest of the distance using Red map.
