Holiday from work and sunny so planned a scenic long one (without being stupid so can still train rest of week). Extended Penielheugh and back (Mount Ulston, Harestanes and Glebe loops). Had intended to climb from the back road side but track closed as forestry work so had to loop back and go up the normal steep way. Couple of jelly babies got me up. Met Mum at Monteviot bridge (17.5km) and she joined me to 22.5km. Felt the legs after that into the wind and up Sharplaw but a similar distance run with less climb for Heb training last August felt tough while today was comfortable.

Back in the garden again for a lot of it so good barbell work as could drop the bar.
