Orienteering warm up/down 15 [3] 2.0 km (8 / km)
shoes: swoops

W/u ~ jog with dad and then speeding up and stretching. Drills at the start.

W/d ~ jog to download and back.

Orienteering race 55:07 [5] 7.0 km (7:52 / km) +60m 7:33 / km
shoes: swoops

Compasssport cup final. Women's open/blue.

Was 8th overall and 2nd in the trophy.

Quite a good run, very fast. Lots of track running which isn't so fun but it kind of suits me. Pretty clean through the first 6 but a bit hesitant and not good route through the green to 7, went in too early once there.
Flew to 8:). 9 ok. Flew again to 10, felt great:). 11 ok.
Went in too early at 12, should have paced or read the map more than run.
Bad route to 13, should have come back out the way I came, this also resulted in me overshooting. 14 was ok. 15 was hesitant and a bit lazy with the compass.

Good run but annoyed with the mistakes at the end. Was really up there:).

Cambridge city race.

W/u ~ jogging with dad, then stretching and speeding up. Kept moving around as tummy was all yucky:(.

W/d ~ small jog to see if dad was coming in, then had to lie down for about half an hour in pain:(.

Women's open.
Quite tricky, good fun. Very busy. Enjoyed it but feeling yuck. Some poor route choices and too many hesitations.

Went to selkirk hill and looked at areas for the event. Picked out all the depressions etc to see if they were usable. Such a tough little area but was all fine when going slow.

Around the red route at newcastleton. Bike was rubbish, gears and brakes so got to go on dad's one:). Good fun and something different, felt the pace towards the end, all stuffed up:(.

Did usual session x2 anda fat burn on the bike inbetween. Not feeling amazing.
