Running 22:15 [3] 3.56 km (6:15 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Hyper Speed 6

Orienteering race 29:03 [5] 6.49 km (4:29 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Hyper Speed 6

Guisbourough. Women's open was B course which was quite short and probably would normally ran A but since I'm supposed chilling a bit just ran B. Quite scrappy really with errors caused by being hasty and not thinking about where I actually wanted to be going 7, 10, 14 and 18. Need to just calm down! Then the last control was on a different place on map to ground so was annoyed when finished. Felt really sick after which wasn't nice but I did enjoy it really.

Tried to relax a lot more while on the long running parts and this seemed good as didn't feel so strained but still seemed to be running fast.

Saturday Oct 1 #

Running warm up/down 8:00 [3] 1.3 km (6:09 / km)
shoes: Icebug Spirit OLX

Helping all morning so trying to get moving. Nothing serious as still trying to stay chilled.

Orienteering race 43:03 [4] 6.19 km (6:57 / km)
shoes: Icebug Spirit OLX

JEC relay spectator race. Really sloppy/rushing and got ahead of myself so had to go back across river which wasn't the best. Not to worried as just trying to enjoy. Lots to improve on.

Friday Sep 30 #

Running warm up/down 15:00 [3] 2.4 km (6:15 / km)
shoes: Saucony Peregrine 4

So happy to be running :)! Allowing some running this weekend but no hype/pressure/taking super seriously purely just fun.
Over to collect controls after.

Orienteering race 15:32 [4] 2.88 km (5:24 / km)
shoes: Saucony Peregrine 4

JEC spectator sprint.
Just enjoying without putting pressure on not properly going for it after helping. Sub optimal routes on 4 and 11. Mistake on 15 and 18. 3 different areas 2 of which not playing to my strength so really good to practice in a sort of race situation.

End of season.
Taking this week to mostly mentally but also physically give myself a break before XC and winter training. No doubt I'll be bored by tomorrow but going to try and keep busy seeing friends etc :).
