Pentlands with Fay from Swanston. Allermuir, Castlelaw, bumped into Zoe who joined us, Careketton back to Swanston/Tesco. Spectating skyline....although missed the leaders despite being being on the hill. Lovely day, really enjoyable.

East District XC relays. Severely lacking mud so more of a trail race than a XC. On last leg and went out behind all the fast teams with big gaps behind / in front so a bit of time trial. Did manage to pass a couple of teams but found it hard to know if was going too hard early on or relaxing too much. Did pass a couple of team a though. Big stomach pain in last 500m though so struggled to stride out which wasn't ideal. Annoying as hadn't eaten anything which bothers me, think need to relax.

Not that good a performance but hopefully can improve on this as I get back into racing and looking forward to the mass starts again. I'll be fast again one day:/.

Took the chance to get off the road & up hills making most of daylight. From work Calton Hill & Arthurs Seat, home via Meadows.

Sore legs but felt better after.

Went along to EUOC session to see if it was worth going for some company. Ended up the only girl slower than fast guys but ahead of others so unfortunately on my own but still good to have others around.
1min, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 1 with 2mins easy running between.
