Strength and Conditioning 30:00 [3]
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4 (2)

On holiday from tonight so couldn't run there as had big bag with me. Hurdle jumps and conditioning.

Yoga 45:00 [0]
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4 (2)

Different instructor this week but still the right sort of thing...even if he did sound inappropriate a lot of the time.

Running warm up/down 10:53 [3] 1.82 km (5:59 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4 (2)

Orienteering 16:08 [3] 2.54 km (6:21 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4 (2)

Organised a wee map memory pairs session (planning next leg while other runs current leg) for Dad and I at Tweedbank once I got off the train from work so could still get my session in today. Still find this a tricky session but something which is good for me.

Running warm up/down 11:14 [3] 4.9 km (2:18 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4 (2)

Running tempo 50:00 [4] 11.09 km (4:31 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4 (2)

2x20mins at threshold pace (5mins active recovery).
On target pace, felt pretty good and actually had to reign it in at times to ensure I did the session properly. Definitely couldn't have done this sort of session this time last year so definitely positive and almost enjoyed it.

Really stressful day at work - started early, didn't take my lunch break (but did eat) and got finished late so as trying to learn to be more flexible with plans switched long run to weekend - as had stuff to do this evening once home - which will be much nicer than solo round the roads. Just went and did 15min test but continuing with the day's trend my HRM didn't work and nothing I did sorted that until I ran home.
Felt a lot better mentally once got into my running.

Running 15:00 [3] 2.69 km (5:35 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4

Just ran on feel.

Running 27:03 [3] 3.98 km (6:48 / km)
shoes: Saucony Peregrine 4

Orienteering race 38:21 [5] 8.63 km (4:27 / km)
ahr:181 shoes: Saucony Peregrine 4

Killingworth (5.9km) ran men's open for more training/competition. Dad ran too and started 2mins ahead and I was trying to catch up to try and force me to push on and take more "risks". Some really good but also some really messy orienteering with dodger routes, running past paths and almost mp'ing. However got out of it what I wanted as need to find where my limit is. Cracking area and enjoyed it.

Running warm up/down 34:42 [3] 5.23 km (6:38 / km)
shoes: Icebugs Spirit OLX 2

Running race 26:01 [5] 5.8 km (4:29 / km)
shoes: Icebugs Spirit OLX 2

Alloa East League XC. First lap slightly too fast so ended up finishing just behind the group I want to be in again as they got away in last km but I'm getting there again and will adapt my tactics for 2weeks time. Enjoyed the course.

3x10mins (3mins) as last week trying to keep HR between 166-175. HRM issues on first but then felt quite good.
