Gala XC, great course with hills, burn crossing and plenty of mud. Didn’t want to get too up for this as lots of bigger races coming up but amazing atmosphere with rugby legend Doddie Weir starting the race complete with piper and everyone singing Flower of Scotland on the start line. Not as good a run as Paxton but still pretty happy and added bonus of winning a nice trophy for 1st Gala female.

5x1km @5km pace (1min), with Lydia chasing me for first 600m. First one too fast as thought I had to go out harder so will try and be more consistent next week as will need to as step it up. Happy days.
