8x 90secs @10km pace, 90secs @marathon pace with Kara on the Meadows. Running well, at faster end of target times.

Photo dash challenge, virtual ‘team’ with Rona, Heather, Shona and Simon in different locations. Basically running around the city trying to find/photograph items from list within time limit. Luckily Shona found a street containing an animal in her town as it was looking like I would be sent on the long run to Salamander Street (we forgot about Cowgate!) Looked like an idiot but had fun, would recommend.

10x Kaimes, only the steep part junction to junction (jog down recovery). Thinking about not straining and the more I relaxed the faster I ran, despite tiring.

Again a frustrating day at work, thought I'd never get away but needed to calm down before juniors coaching call so went for some hills and mud with a little bit of snow thrown in. West Craiglockhart then the golf courses which I had to myself except for some owls hooting :).

3x10mins tempo (90secs) on the Meadows with Kara. Very consistent and best I've done this session despite the shortened rest and jumping on and off the pavements like a yo-yo.

Braids, just switching off from everything. Solo, quiet, had fun in the snow and enjoyed getting some hills in. Could even see the stars, quite magical up there and almost reminded me of being back home at time.
