Managed porridge once home from session yesterday then very little else (not even the brownie I'd treated myself to). No appetite and then slept really badly. This was therefore very under fuelled, I did though want Kara's company to help. Had a good chat and slightly new bit of a route, fruit pastel at 11km got me home.

Road effort, decent enough in a block of training. Stomach better this morning and although have been grumpy/stressed all week managed to relax for this. Too short for me but sprint relevant so will repeat.

Note

First go out on the bike this year to Kara's (c.10km total not logged), change of shoes then a good warm straight of the bike worked ok. Really fun to be out on it again, hopefully weather stays ok so can do more again. Spin home helped the legs.

Wet and windy, gps pretty off. Morning "Rush hour" is a good time for this as it's so quiet.

Stomach really not good and just feeling really fussy with food. Emergency porridge for lunch as didn't fancy anything. Then work just got worse and worse as the day went on so never got out my grump.

1mile easy, 5miles steady tempo, 1mile easy, 2miles effort with whatever left, just short of 1mile easy with Kara. Bit breezy and the usual Meadows gps faff/weaving carnage but big session in the bag.

Usual lunch break Craiglockhart loop with Katrina. Very spring like as snow suddenly disappeared almost entirely overnight.
