2 sets of 3x1km @5km pace (90secs), then 4x40secs strides (jog back). 5mins between sets. On the Meadows with Kara. felt the burn but running pretty well this morning.

Hills at Kaimes with Sophie. Snake hilly tempo (float flat, push climbs), walk down then 5x junction to junction on steep part (jog down recovery). We were both flying on the short ones, smashed my previous times.

Barely slept, have let everything build up and stress get the better of me. Looking back it's been coming for a while, combination of lots of things which I try to ignore as know my life could be so much worse. Wake up call - stopped being stubborn not wanting to waste holidays and took the afternoon off to sort myself out. Walking, talking, hot choc and sleeping (found this stress sleep spray etc. my friend gave me and genuinely works!).

Met Kara, weather very stormy just like me. Efforts with wind behind, float into the wind. Understandably no zip, lacking fuel and sleep - didn't push my luck. Kara had noticed I wasn't myself on Sat morning (when I thought I was fine) and tonight brought me a little bag of stuff to cheer me up. Good chat with Rona too while having a proper dinner. Very full but on the up, going for 3 meals tomorrow as no negative affects :).

Monday Feb 22 #

Couldn't sleep so morning Roseburn Park loop. Still didn't make me hungry enough to want breakfast even though I barely ate yesterday. Lots of lemon and ginger tea and some active root for stomach.

Tea & Sympathy walk at lunch, managed a hot choc then forced down some porridge with PB/banana. Stuck tunes on and just ran, stupidly ignoring problems. Felt quite good but need to sort myself out, very very aware this is not sustainable!
