Shanked #1 a bit because I couldn't pick the track out of the detail on the map for half the leg and was almost walking along. Stopped about 5m short of #2 where both it and the boulder were neatly hiding behind a tree.
3 - 8 was clean. Went lowish around the rocks to 9 and I think this was the best option. Lost a bit of time to 10 going left under the train track - something about the pink printing made me think we were supposed to pass under not over, I don't know why!
Clean and straight through the rest. Really enjoyed the run (thanks Rob) and the "new" area (thanks Juffy). More than happy to attend close in events that are that much fun. We should look at small bits of other close in bush maps that could be remapped at this scale to increase the map bank for Navdash events.
Penny and Phil must have had their highest number of "runners" today by far - I must have seen at least 20 on the string course. They should start charging an entry fee soon!
Had a nice coffee and chips at the newly refurbished Mahogany Inn (Inn Stone now I think) with Andy, Nat, Heather, Adrian and our collective brood. May have to drop in on a Sunday for a proper lunch and sample their local boutique beers on tap.
