Long course at Xmas Tree Creek NavDash
Fluffed 1 and then headed the wrong way out of 2. The train ran over me at 15. I headed to 18 out of 16, convincing myself that Craig was going low of the control. What was I thinking, when has Craig EVER muffed a control?
Basically used and abused the train from there on in. Felt pretty cooked and had real problems with sweat/sunscreen in my eyes. Didn't think I'd be up for a second course.

Easy course with Kate. She did really well through the early part of the course that didn't have any handrails. She ran passed a couple of controls and I suspect she needs to work on thinking about how far away the control will be. All in all she did really well, but was quite hot by the end. We had a few chats along the way, mainly about symbols she didn't know.

Short course.
tRicky had said that the two courses were quite different so I was keen to do the double and after Kate's course I felt that I had enough to get around ok.
Much better around this course. No real issues, just some suboptimal approaches to controls which cost a few seconds here and there. Perhaps made better by not pushing as hard?
Hopefully tRicky is happy - I visited every control on the map, so it was worth his time and effort, especially given the heat of the day (about 33 degrees).
