Long at BSI

Nice use of the area we didn't go into last year. Not overly complex but challenging enough to make sure I was concentrating on not taking the wrong road - which I almost did out of 10. Much to Tash's amusement I took 3 steps in completely the wrong direction out of the start, but apart from that it was just my lack of speed. A bit of unmarked rock near 16 caught my eye, but that was about the only time I lost I think.

Much more complex course over the island itself. Enjoyed this one a lot more and was quite disappointed when I saw we only had 13 controls when I was heading towards 12. Nice area to double up on for the day.

H2 at Jumbuck.

I really like this area but really don't like the map. I think OWA should seriously consider getting the whole place mapped by one person.

Managed to lose 3 minutes on the easiest control of the day at 13. Had a fun race through 6 - 10 in front of Ameko and Ceri, only to fluff 13 and have them both pass me and finish before me. Enjoyable course none the less.

Slow jog to see if back would be okay. Very foggy morning. Blinded a few dogs with my Ayups - as planned :) It kept them from running at me in the dark.

H1 MD at Malmalling

A bit wobbly to 1 but no real issue. Clean through to 9, which i over ran after miss reading the clearing on/before the rock and not seeing the boulder in bushes of the same height. Missed 12 a bit to the left and then looked at all of the rocks around 14 to make sure the last one was the correct one.

Interesting course. Terrain was hard going and didn't really feel like I ran a lot of the legs. Good fun though.
