Smooth run for the most part. Feet started to outrun my brain a bit around 20/21 through Newman College, but I just took Craig's advice and slowed down a for a few seconds to reconnect with the map. No wobbles at all (except a wide route to 25), perhaps one or two legs could have been better route choice. Almost missed 18 as I picked the exact right spot (as marked on the map) and was looking left at the building when the control was on my right. No time loss, but I don't think the circle was quite centred on the right location.
Interesting course given the limitation of not being able to open up CSHS - was this the Principal's decision?

Course 3 with Kate.
Lots of chats about what to look for on a Juffy sprint map - heaps of different symbols for Kate to learn. I helped out with most legs, but I left Kate to do a few completely by herself. Some she did really well and others reminded me of why kids sometimes take so long on short courses. She really enjoyed her first ever navdash course.
