An epic journey. (Check out that kph reading o_O)

Had a scale fail on the way to 1 and rode way too far south before circling around to it. Helped a few people, mainly newbies, to get going even before I got to 1. Slow and steady, swimming through gravel for the most past through to 7. The hill down towards 8 was just a little bit steep, so walked a fair bit of it. 8 to 9 was nice and smooth and flat. Came out onto Mills Rd at the truck arrester bed on Boltboi's tail. He refused my offer for him to tow me up. Had to stop on the way up the hill because I dropped my water bottle. Had a nanna nap before I got to the tracks to turn off to 11, which allowed me to watch Boltboi riding around like a headless chook for a bit. He punched 11 ahead of me and then disappeared.

I nearly pulled the pin around about there, but decided I had nothing better to do, so ploughed on through some more dry gravel.

I think 1 was my only real big mistake. The rest was being cautious with map reading and being epically unsuited to MTBO.
