Headed at East this morning on the loop we planned at night. Only two small wobbles that we again corrected well and didn't lose any real time. We cut all of the 10 pointers along the way which made for comfortable timing in the end.

Negatives: I think WARA really need to reassess the catering requirement for 24hr events. We were told at 5:30am this morning that bacon wasn't to be cooked until 6am - apparently early starters don't deserve bacon but people who sleep in do? At noon there was virtually no food left, certainly almost no choice. Surely spending an extra $200 on food couldn't hurt?

Positives:

New shoes were great.

The course was super accurate and well set out. Love the idea of something a bit different (the clusters) and the novelty element of the cereal boxes.

Oddly - hours of planning has no effect on our performance if this was anything to go by.

A big thank you to tRicky and Tash and the vetting crew. Great event, well done!

(BTW - we managed 6th overall)
