Really clean run throughout, although perhaps some route choices might not have been the fastest, such is life. Came wide right into 14 and dropped perfectly into the gully, ran along the watercourse looking for the pit and started to get that "I've missed it feeling". Saw the large knoll past the control and doubled back, this time running in the creek, figuring I had missed the control down in the pit. Back to the right spot, no control (or pit really). Looked up and could see a control on the gully coming into the watercourse about 50m away. Thought it best to check, even though it was clearly not on the right watercourse - about 2 minutes lost all up.
Overall the course was really enjoyable, not too sure where the 415m climb was - I didn't try to avoid too much of it and seem to have chopped off about 150m. Made really good use of what I think is a great area.
Thanks to the setters and organisers - well done
