A tough Tues Night Training Trail run. I think too much coffee late in the day meant a rough belly and then T-Rex totally mocked me before the start! ;)

Super chilly night. Workout was loops on a fun trail just off the Parkway near Pink. Felt okay at the start, but really hurting at the end, passed by both fast ladies with the cool striped tights. Hard run, would be perfect for elite Orienteers on the single track.

Both sad and great news at the same time. Sad that Yurkiw has to walk away from the sport, but amazing to think of what she accomplished as a self-funded athlete. Canada has a big gap in talent on the speed program going into the next Olympics.
