Saturday May 22 #

Running 45:27 [1] 7.68 km (5:55 / km)

Run with Brian Stewart in the Westdale trails. Followed by good chat with local Ultra runner Reid on how big a beard he's planning on growing to fit in with that crowd.

Mountain Biking 2:04:00 [3] 20.32 km (6:06 / km)

Took me a while to get into action, but went to Albion Hills for some mountain biking. And just as people had said, really fun and probably the right level for the first ride of the year. Super dry, tried to get onto as much single track as possible. The place was pretty empty, probably good I went on a Friday.

Afterwards: on Bash's recommendation hit Caledon Brew for beer and especially a serious burger. Then bought very expensive cheese across the road which better be good.

The woods there range from: very nasty and thick to super open. I have no idea if there's enough white woods in the right location to do something fun with the terrain, but hopefully it gets used in the future. I think best in the Fall for sure and I'm sure still a good relay map.

There were a few Ontario Junior Orienteering Camps held there. Back when Orienteering Ontario put on things. I think that's been forgotten about.

Wednesday May 19 #

Cycling 56:32 [1] 25.05 km (2:15 / km)

Just a wee post work ride in to the Beaches and back.

Tuesday May 18 #

Running 35:06 [2] 6.9 km (5:05 / km)

Felt zonked so out for a run. Good to get out but didn't feel great or anything.

Sunday May 16 #

Running 1:55:09 [2] 42.64 km (2:42 / km)

Lovely afternoon ride with Ali to Petrie Island and back. Also a beer at Broadhead which was really good. Very fun bike path I had never ridden on.
