Lovely Sunday afternoon run in the Dundas Valley. Calf felt okay, but avoided K2 just in case. Great fall colours.
Turns out Liam and Cat were in the valley at the same time, parked at the Train Station and Cat got mega lost. The DV is pretty poorly signed, they could use many more maps.
How did I manage to run 6.66 km the week of Halloween?
Injured calf felt good, but could definitely feel it on the uphills so need to take those gently. My fitness would also like me to take the uphills gently.
I'm beginning to think that for sure RtH while injured is a bad idea.
Have I ever had calf issues on an uphill at the RtH before? Yes.
Also: last night Orienteering Ontario Board approved a wee project for people wanting to work on course setting. Really looking forward to setting this up, happy to have logistic help if there's anyone interested.
