Event: XXII Ilves-3
 

Orienteering race (Ilves-3 first day) 52:38 [4] 6.0 km (8:46 / km)
shoes: Jalas

First day of Ilves-3. Very dense forest and hard to run. Slow speed together with couple of mistakes is not good combination. I started to regret that forgot my shirt with long sleaves :). I think that map is not good, but orienteering is orienteering and everyone uses the same map and should develop skills to adapt.

Orienteering run at Meridians. Lot of very dense forest. The good thing is that trees dont have leaves yet.

Easy forest/trails run. Legs after relay are heavy.

Relays. I ran 3rd leg. First half I did pretty good but obviously little bit too fast. It probably costed me an 2 minutes error. Still havn' t found my current race speed. Team finished in 11th place :(
