Running 2:35:00 [3] 17.2 mi (9:01 / mi)

Easy long run with Randy and Brian before Montana De Oro 50k. The run felt good. I wanted to push the second loop but we opted out. I never felt like I bonked any time during the run. However, my legs did feel good during the short walk breaks. My hip flexor was a bit tight but I'll be ok. My goal is to go into a race, a "test" race, and see how I handle it with a higher mileage/less of a taper, than normal. New brooks Ghost.

Running 1:29:00 [3] 11.0 mi (8:05 / mi)

"easy" run just to get miles. My legs felt a bit tired for some reason even after a day off. Everyone is catching the cold going around and I'm reallly going to try and fight it off... and keep myself healthy. No Back pain after run so far... Brooks Ghost

Running 1:02:30 [3] 8.6 mi (7:16 / mi)

Ran one hard loop of Rocky Hill. This was a Great Tempo Run! My Garmin Died as soon as I started so I just ran "hard". I was hoping to go low 1:01 or even sub-1 hour. I was very pleased with the 1:02. I took very short walk breaks up the hill. Two short one's (20 sec) and about 3 or 4 on the Capsue. Over all I was able to hold my pace well. I'm pleased with my training so far in this Cycle. New Brooks Ghost.

Running 1:34:20 [3] 11.28 mi (8:22 / mi)

Easy run, trying to get some miles in. Ran to the gym, did core work, ran home. Legs felt tired from the previous days run. Able to keep going without throwing in walk breaks. Brooks Ghost

Running 3:06:00 [3] 19.5 mi (9:32 / mi)

Ran one loop of rocky hill and ran to the barbed wire fence on the cow trail. I need to stop and rest a few times going. One day I want to be able to run the entire thing. Finished the loop in 1:49:xx. Then geared up for loop two without heading to the towers. Ran Fartlek type pushes on the flats...and ended really strong on the up hill. Good run. Legs felt tired but now pounded ...very good sign... My training is coming together. Brooks Ghost New.
