Hermann-Rice short. This one was all over the place. Started out feeling pretty good (which is usually the kiss of death). After a mile or so, everything became really hard for the next 3.5 - legs dead, no energy, bleh. Then, down the homestretch, it turned around & I was able to finish on a good note. Whatever.

Hermann loop. Short after-work run. Just wanted to take it easy, but the insane wind had other ideas. Crazy headwind for much of the first half of the run played havoc with my pace. Legs felt heavy until the last mile or so. Off day tomorrow.

Hermann-Rice short + braes short. Actually felt surprisingly good and really kept the legs turning over throughout. Nice mid-morning weather (my best time of day for running too) helped.

Trails with Chris. Not sure about the distance. Maybe it was less. Don't really care. Felt fine, although the calf remains tight.

Hermann + short bayou loop. Nice chilly morning. While the pesky left calf is still a bit tight (frustrating), everything else felt fine. Is being 100% healthy for maybe like just a month too much to ask?

Hermann loop. Mixed in a handful of short walk breaks during the first couple of miles until I had a sense of how I felt, then it was nearly all running after that. Didn't feel too bad overall. Hopefully, the UR crud has just about run its course.

Tried to run, but quickly turned back as the crud that settled into my chest made it hard to breath. Felt totally worn out. Ugh.

Hermann loop (cut off). Legs felt rested (duh) and the calf was fine, but the upper respiratory crud that I've been fighting over the past few days was definitely a drag. A solid pace, but it felt like I was running 400 repeats.

Hermann mid-loop. Ugh. This wasn't so much a dead legged run as it was a dead everything run. I had nothing this morning. Pretty sure work stress and lots of sub-par nights' sleep have caught up to me. On the plus side, I made it out the door and the calf wasn't an issue.
