Running 1:15:20 [3] 7.0 mi (10:46 / mi)
shoes: NB MT790(3)

Trails - Green + Blue, Orange, Yellow, Red. Hot, hot, hot. Pulled back on the pace a bit and managed the heat a little better.

Friday May 21, 2010 #

Running 59:40 [3] 6.0 mi (9:57 / mi)
shoes: NB MT790(2)

Afternoon trails. Endless Loop + Green out and back. Hot as hell. Ran to the turnaround without any walking. Concentrated on pulling back to keep from overheating on the way back. Worked, sort of. Still woozy from the heat by the time I was done.

Thursday May 20, 2010 #

Running 36:15 [3] 4.2 mi (8:38 / mi)
shoes: Cumulus 10

Hermann with Braes loop to footbridge. Humid as hell, but not bad temperature. Legs felt okay for the second run in 12 hours.

Wednesday May 19, 2010 #

Running 54:07 [3] 5.5 mi (9:50 / mi)
shoes: NB MT790(3)

Trails. Copy of yesterday, but solo and sans the second Endless Loop. Solid first 2/3 and then a heat-induced slog over the last 1/3. Acclimating to the heat still.

Tuesday May 18, 2010 #

Running 59:16 [3] 6.0 mi (9:53 / mi)
shoes: NB MT790(3)

Trails with Chris. Very warm and ridiculously muggy. Started out strong but the heat took its toll at the end. Nevertheless, it felt like a breakthrough run in some ways. Strong overall, given the heat, and the hip/abs/shin wasn't really much of an issue.

Note
weight:174lbs

Gym. About 30 minutes working the machines - core and quads mostly. Weight: 174. Need to be 10 lbs lighter by Firetrails.

Sunday May 16, 2010 #

Running 1:00:43 [3] 6.3 mi (9:38 / mi)
shoes: NB MT790(3)

Allen Parkway / Memorial with an extra Waugh / Shepherd loop. First 4.9 in 45 minutes - slow and easy. Some more walking on the extra loop. Humid as hell, but overall a MUCH better run than the day before.
