Running47:25 [3] 5.5 mi (8:37 / mi) shoes: Kinvara #2
Hermann-Rice short. Trails are closed at Memorial, so this was a substitute for the typical Saturday run. The stuff felt okay. Feet were pretty good, especially when compared to where they were at a couple of weeks ago. Energy was ... meh. 5.5 miles still qualifies as a long run for me, but I managed it just fine. Time to get some consistency back.
Late-afternoon trails. Post-CLE/sitting in hotel ballroom all day run. Sort of lethargic on a very hot afternoon. Pace can be described, charitably, as languid. No matter - all about getting some miles.
Hermann loop. Decided that if I'm going to be running short, I might as well go a bit harder. Pushed the pace . . . sort of. The perceived effort was high (in my mind's eye, pure Chris Solinsky), although the reality was pretty middling. Feet about the same - no better, no worse.
