Running 1:58:26 [3] 11.0 mi (10:46 / mi)
shoes: NB 110

Saturday trails with TREX. Big group this morning. Fairly quickly splintered into different pace packs. The early miles were really chippy and the conditions were pretty soupy/warm. The time includes most of the stops waiting for folks to catch up. Still, I felt strong for most of the run. Enjoyed the new NB110s. For these conditions and this distance, they were a nice, light, super-comfy ride.

Running 44:02 [3] 5.5 mi (8:00 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Pure Connect

Hermann-Rice short. Weird run. Legs felt oddly disconnected from the rest of my body. No fluidity until pretty late in the run. Chilly (early) morning may have had something to do with it. The surprisingly quick pace could also be an explanation - simply didn't feel like I was running 8:00 miles. Pain behind the right big toe was back. Time for either a day off or maybe some trails to change things up, if I can work them in.

Running 33:55 [3] 4.0 mi (8:29 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Pure Connect

Hermann loop. Pressed for time this morning, so I focused on quality over quantity on this VERY early-morning run. Slow and easy 3/4 mile warm up & 1/2 mile cool down sandwiching some free-form fartlek-y stuff. Need to get this sort of work in every week - less for increasing turnover than for increasing efficiency at slower speeds.

Running 55:02 [3] 6.7 mi (8:13 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Pure Connect

Hermann-Rice long plus. Pretty solid effort overall. A good deal warmer than lately this morning. Some pain behind the right big toe for much of the run - felt like some kind of tendon issue. Possibly an adjustment to the new shoes. Will monitor.
