Running 1:35:32 [3] 10.5 mi (9:06 / mi)
shoes: Pure Connect-DayGlo

Saturday at Terry Hershey w/ Chris. Felt like total garbage for the first couple of miles, but then things fell into place for the next 45 minutes or so. Then I got tired again. Hot super hot, but very humid. Meh.

Friday Oct 5, 2012 #

Running 45:37 [3] 5.7 mi (8:00 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Pure Connect

Hermann-Rice short GW. Typically creaky after a day off, but things fell into place on the back half and the last couple of miles turned into a very relaxed, mindless cruise.

Running 42:24 [3] 5.7 mi (7:26 / mi)
shoes: Pure Connect-DayGlo

Hermann-Rice short GW. Damn, maybe I should drink too much beer every night. Not sure what it was, but the legs just felt tremendous this morning - full of life. Hit my 1.5 split way below the norm without feeling any extra effort. Just let it ride from there - felt like I was gliding for a good chunk of the run. Fastest run of any distance this year. Who knows where it came from, but you have to enjoy 'em when they happen.

Running 44:54 [3] 5.7 mi (7:53 / mi)
shoes: Pure Connect-DayGlo

Hermann-Rice short GW. As a little consistency returns to my running, so does the typical flat early / spry late pattern. Truly hideous night's sleep (just couldn't fall asleep) led to a blah first couple of miles, then things turned around nicely & the last half of the run was super solid.

Running 50:47 [3] 6.4 mi (7:56 / mi)
shoes: Pure Connect-DayGlo

Hermann-Rice long GW. Even a very achy back couldn't dampen the reality of 59 degrees! A bit creaky through the first couple of miles, but once things started to loosen up it was glorious. And you know what I stuffed in my shoes after the run to help them dry out? NOTHING!

Sunday Sep 30, 2012 #

Running 44:38 [3] 5.7 mi (7:50 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Pure Connect

Hermann-Rice short GW. A day can make a big difference. 10 degrees cooler doesn't hurt either. Very solid start to finish.
