Running 2:22:36 [3] 14.0 mi (10:11 / mi) +1300ft 9:22 / mi
shoes: Altra Olympus

HSP. Nice morning at the park. Focused on hill repeats on the 7 Hills cut. The Olympus were pretty sweet. While I doubt I'd want to run in them all the time - no trail feel whatsoever - for bombing downhills and cruising over nasty shit, they're pretty badass. Surprisingly responsive for such a big shoe.

Hermann. Wasn't sure whether to rest or get out the door. Chose the latter, and while the knee was fine, the legs were about as flat as can be. The entire system was just dog tired. Definitely feeling the month's mileage. Zeros tomorrow and Sunday, sandwiched around a 12-miler with an emphasis on hills.

Running 1:00:29 [3] 7.1 mi (8:31 / mi)

Hermann-Rice long + Braes. Just about logging some miles. The knee was fine during the run. Left quad felt a little sore, but otherwise no issues. Post-run, the left knee is a touch tweaky and the left calf is fairly tight. Going to play tomorrow by ear. Either a zero or something short and easy. Want to be able to hammer some hill repeats with Saturday's run.

Running 53:40 [3] 6.4 mi (8:23 / mi)
weight:165lbs shoes: PureFlow Grey/Green

Hermann-Rice long. The left knee started talking to me, but only when I stopped to walk across a street or to grab a drink from a water fountain. It was fine while running. Nevertheless, I decided to cut out the Braes portion of this one - another 0.7 isn't going to make any difference. The run itself was good - speed play ("gears") around the Rice loop, with the top gear at 90% or so.

Running 48:31 [3] 5.8 mi (8:22 / mi)
shoes: PureFlow Grey/Green

Hermann-Rice short. Solid Monday morning run. Legs felt pretty decent, although the left hamstring tightened up a bit post run. Hopefully just a minor thing.
