Running 1:33:06 [3] 9.0 mi (10:21 / mi) +135ft 10:12 / mi
shoes: Altra Lone Peak 1.5

The Ho. First 6 with Chris. Warm, humid morning. Felt generally fine, save for a bit of foot pain toward the end. This is my biggest single worry going into Miwok. Managed not to turn any ankles or take any headers on what is likely the last trail run before Miwok, and that's really all that matters at this point.

Note
(rest day)

Planned zero. Legs were surprisingly tired after yesterday's run anyway.

Climbing 10:00 [3] +250ft

PM stairs. 250 up and down. Felt better than the other day's effort.

Thursday Apr 24, 2014 #

Running 54:12 [3] 6.5 mi (8:20 / mi)
shoes: PureFlow 2 DayGlo

Hermann-Rice long. A late night at the Rockets' game with a bit of overindulging didn't create ideal circumstances for this one. But everything felt pretty solid nonetheless. Day off tomorrow.

Wednesday Apr 23, 2014 #

Running 47:48 [3] 5.8 mi (8:14 / mi)
shoes: PureFlow 2 DayGlo

Hermann-Rice short. Legs were sleepy for the first half, but then woke up just fine for the trip home.

Climbing 10:00 [3] +250ft

AM Stairs. 150 up / 250 down.

Tuesday Apr 22, 2014 #

After-work stroll.

Planned zero day. Yay.

Sunday Apr 20, 2014 #

Running 38:58 [3] 4.2 mi (9:17 / mi)
weight:162lbs shoes: PureFlow 2 DayGlo

Hermann. Warm, late-afternoon shuffle to see where the legs are at and work out a few kinks. Flat, but not nearly as bad as I expected. End the week with 70 miles, the largest one-week (non-race) block in many years. Off tomorrow and maybe Tuesday too - just play it by ear. Rest is a friend now.
