Ho. Started with Chris and G-man. Nice to have some company back there. Finished with Mariela. Possibly the last pleasant-weather morning for many a month.

Hermann-Rice short + Braes. A stray dog on the big pedestrian bridge necessitated a .5 mile detour - not going to risk dog issues in the one location where there's nowhere to go. Rest of the run was super solid. Legs felt lively and strong. Feet were a bit achy, but what are you going to do?

Ho. Ran into Mariela at the very beginning and accepted the offer to join her. Very relaxed 8/2 pace helped keep the effects of the heat at bay until the last mile or so.
