Running 4:47:24 [3] 25.0 mi (11:30 / mi)
shoes: Altra Lone Peak 2

HSP. While I could be disappointed in not quite making it to the planned 26, I choose to be quite happy that I actually managed 25. Soupy conditions meant pretty heavy sweating throughout. Met Larry and Tony D. 3.1 miles in and realized right away that their pace was just touch quicker than I wanted to run, but not so quick that I protested. Larry threw in 30 second walks every 5:30, which helped for a bit. By the time I finished the 16.2 mile loop, though, the engine was feeling cooked. The last 8.8 included a fair amount of walking, as I worked through some low spots. Still, these longer runs aren't meant to be easy.

Running 41:11 [3] 5.0 mi (8:14 / mi)
shoes: PureFlow3 Blue

Hermann + Braes. As this minor cold begins to settle in the chest, wasn't sure how things would feel this morning. Chose the short route just in case, although I felt pretty solid.

Running 58:05 [3] 7.0 mi (8:18 / mi)
shoes: PureFlow3 Blue

Hermann-Rice long + Braes. Slept much better last night & got a slightly later start, which meant none of this one was in the dark. Kinda nice. Felt solid throughout.

Running 53:25 [3] 6.5 mi (8:13 / mi)
shoes: Brooks PureFlow3

Hermann-Rice long. Another shitty night's sleep due to a low-level upper respiratory thing has left me really tired as I enter this. The run itself, however, wasn't too bad.

Running 47:12 [3] 5.9 mi (8:00 / mi)
shoes: PureFlow3 Blue

Hermann-Rice short. Crap night's sleep & woke with a slight sore throat, so I had no idea what to expect from this one. But all was good.
