Birnam Hill: steady run just trying to get back into forest orienteering, a bit scrappy at times, couldn’t read the vegetation and thought the green hash was blue and a marsh so a few routes through grot.
Cagoules compulsory (but only for some!), what was this all about on short courses mostly in sheltered woodland with a good forecast. Most seemed to ignore this instruction but some had to run around with heavy coats as it was what they had.
