Good challenge both woods and hillside. Quite physical and definitely mentally challenging not to loose the plot when I got stuck in wind-blow and couldn't see for steamed up glasses when climbing on the hill.
Lost 3 mins at 4 when I went left instead of right around some wind-blow near the control and couldn't get out.(Had to go into the field which was technically OOB to escape!). Problems with 6 and 7 which were steep uphill as I couldn't go fast enough to keep the glasses from steaming up. Ok once I got over the hill again.
Still not got a solution to this, wore normally glasses rather than wraparound sports ones which lets more ventilation in, but certain conditions still result in no vision through them.

Blue Mens Course: A mostly clean run concentrating on orienteering in the control circle and reading the descriptions. Ok until 10 where I somehow lost 30s (possibly went too straight rather than going to the path. Confused at 11 where the feature (thicket wasn't on the map!). Lost concentration and about 1 min at 15 (not reading the map in the circle). Steady and clean through the last 6 controls.
7th about 2 mins down on DaveR.
