Needed the win to secure the East Midlands Urban League for 2017 (although realise being from YHOA I wouldn't count) - Wollaton was a bit of a non-event - couple of 50/50 RC's - so just pick your route and go!
Most interesting leg straight after the map exhange, from then on in much better use could have been made of the University - pity, bit of a waste!
#forwhatitsworth #justsaying imho it would have been better to have the whole event in the Uni with a map exchange, if necessary, in the Uni grounds - reckon a lot better use of the area could have been made that way.....but....like I always say (mostly)... I wasn't the planner :)

Very surprised to be under 40 to say how slowly I "ran" in the conditions. Occasional heavy snow showers and lots of removing of glasses to attempt to wipe clean!
Good fun, but not something I'd want to do regularly!
