Run Across Scotland, Inverness to Drumnadrochit. Lovely day, easy group all close pace and nice weather. Legs held out:-)

Short run to check over legs before tomorrow. Right shin muscle tightened up at start but eased after 10-15 mins. Will try to get a decent warm-up in the morning.

With S from near Strathdon, up some hills and back past the Lost Gallery! Legs working OK and some pushes on the main climb. Tired by end but managed to keep running form and avoid too much foot flapping.

Hanging and collecting controls at schools festival. Lovely day and nice forest. Hills tough on my tired legs. No niggles in leg/hip/groin :-)

Intervals hills 10:00 [5]

Morven - up diagonal track, back direct.
Felt good and leg was fine after first 5 minutes.
Intervals 10x1+1 starting on second climb, to top. Not great speed on gentler sections but felt strong, maybe not so unfit after all ;-)
My first intervals since November! Whoop, whoop :-)

Saw a ptarmigan as I was leaving the summit plateau - first time ever on Morven.

Diagonal track then back down direct route. Road shoes - good choice as it was (apart from either end of the diagonal) dry as a bone, never seen it so dry and dusty.
Great to get to the top feeling OK and having run 99% of the way!

Mostly felt OK. Didn't run before due to feeling tired from weekend.
