6 hours surveying - hot but st least I was in forest for most part so avoided the worst of the heat.

With MD Woods west of Doune and along River Teith. Very pleasant run in nice variety of terrain - path along no Teith was specially beautiful. Going OK for most but felt last hill

Pleasant swim in Loch Kinord with S. Choppy but water very warm. Only 22C when we got out (had reached 27 at lunchtime in Aboyne!)

Quick whiz round last controls for the event. Feeling a bit less heavy-legged but not great (though it was 9am...)

Note

A fair bit of gardening this week - about 7-8 hours total, mostly weeding. This might help explain heavy legs.
A week of survey coming up so probably a lot less running.

Checking controls for event tomorrow. Pushed as feeling tired and if I went any easier I'd have been walking. Still a group to check tomorrow.
