Run (walk) up Meall a Buchaill with SP. More than I had planned but legs felt reasonable.

Feet sore - left from stones and right big toe - the usual old-broken toe problems.

Cross-country race race 45:00 [5]

Deeside Runners Tarland night race. Feeling pretty washed out after last few days but decided to start. Gradually got into the swing of it till the steep climb at top of hill, then struggled on descent - not fast enough on downhill forest road sections. Ended up nearly 8 minutes down on winner. Not very good.

DNC Braes (Logie Coldstone). Pleasant little area and mostly flat so quite quick. Missed 3 or 4 controls a wee bit - lost maybe 2-30 to 3 minutes. 9 minutes down on the big boys (Duncan, Sashsa, Josh... stacked field!), maybe first local punter :-)

Mortlich with S, E and RH. Pleasant morning, nice sunrise as we climbed.

rest day - feeling a bit weary. Went for a walk up Creag Lich with S and E, met AT & ET. Lovely sunny day, clear skies and still air. Glorious.
