orienteering 20:00 [3]

wee run round the corridor course, only saw 2 juniors en-route so not much coaching done!

Saturday Feb 16 #

steady run 20:00 [3]

To start of training at Craigellachie

orienteering 30:00 [3]

Control collecting and shadowing at Craigellachie - great area but a wee bit tough i n parts ...

Friday Feb 15 #

orienteering 36:00 [4]

Hanging reflectors at Kincraig for night training at Scotjos weekend. Right calf started grumbling about halfway through.

Thursday Feb 14 #

Rest day.

Wednesday Feb 13 #

orienteering race 51:00 [5]

DNC Wood of Easter Clune. Touhg area, tough course, esp 5-6 through the (out of date mapped) gorse... Lots of prickles in my legs but at least spiked the control. Most navigation OK but legs felt desperately tired and heavy - lack of warm-up didn't help on first 20 mins either!
Right calf grumbled away throughout but never got too bad.
Then helped push cars out of the parking field - we were in the wettest corner of the whole field...

steady run warm up/down 5:00 [3]

Jog to start then pretty much straight off - to try to stay ahead of E.

Tuesday Feb 12 #

steady run 1:30:00 [3]

Inverey with E & S, extra warm-up at start as bridge out... along to west but cut short plan to run along Glen to col and back along ridge - too many aches and pains and head-wind. Up to ridge instead and back down across moor to first. pleasant enough but feeling usual Tuesday post-pilates awkwardness. Right calf aching in various places...

Monday Feb 11 #

Pilates 1:00:00 [1]

Good session, tough abs work, bridging with feet on the ball.
