Maybr 2 sets too much... Really tender calfs - DOMS!

Home to Aboyne via Horse pace and Bellwood, then Dinnet by south Deeside Road and back to Aboyne along Deeside Way onto A93 to Dess turn off. Pushing a lot of it. Pretty pleasant and not too many cars cut me up.

Hanging and collecting controls for after-school club. Felt awkward and a bit sore in right knee.

Guiding for Running the Highlands, Glen Tanar, out main path to second bridge then cut up through heather (found old path for second half) to southern track, then back south of Clachan Yell. Lovely day and very pleasant company, lots of good chat. Right calf OK, but R knee and then groin got very niggly towards end. Seems foam rolling is working on calf but still some sort of imbalance there that is causing a "mobile" injury problem. Will try to avoid long track runs till things settle. More rolling and physiology exercises...

Collecting controls from SE corner of Birsemore. Lovely warm, sunny, dry, calm day, plod up the cistern track and then a lovely slalom back through the terrain picking up 9 controls and back down the cistern track.
Right calf much easier - foam-rolled it last night and this morning - maybe thats the trick...

Collecting controls from Muir of Dinnet - I was lucky and got the north section - some of the nicest forest in Deeside ;-)
