Glen Tanar, old interval route, run steadily. Fine and going well till about 35 mins then calf tightened up followed by hamstring g twinges, eased back, some stretches and nag dot get home still running albeit slowly. pain about 3 for much of return. Maybe going to take longer than hoped ...

Lap of Dess Woods. Stunning autumn day - plenty of stops to take in the views - lucky to live in such a superb place!
Calf totally fine. Aerobics a bit down - after last night's run?

Aboyne garage to home after dropping car for MOT. Lovely morning, great colours and still with blue skies. Left calf felt fine - best on flat running for a while. Maybe exercises are starting to work already??


sawing and shifting logs, 2 hours

Fungle and Master Blaster with S, ME, SP, SR & SW. Mostly a decent pace with a bit of chat, sped up towards end. Left calf totally fine and only a brief ache behind left knee. Exercise are working - I'm sure. Felt really bouncy and strong towards end rather than dragging left leg.

Round Braes - sticking to nice bits fo the forest. Legs feeling pretty heavy from yesterday.
Put up a Snipe or Wood Cock and then a lovely huge brown hare :-)

Muir of Dinnet - from visitor centre car park, across road, parallel to east then cross road and wound my way up the hills to NW, occasional stops to retie laces and catch my breath but all decent going, avoiding heather and bracken as much as possible. One small hill had me wading through waist deep heather then turned left towards burn and back down gorge (forgotten how slow going down the gorge is!).
left calf fine, hardly a tweak from it. Terrain is good :-)
