Running the Highlands - part of 10km loop, then walk partway back with a faller. Joined in to meet others and back to castle with them. Pleasant day but only a brief Lochnagar view.

orienteering 25:00 [3]

Collecting controls at Cambus - got the west end, magic bit of terrain. Legs a bot stuffed from last few days but still enjoyable.

Balmoral long run, 15 miler, done very slowly with lots of stops and photos and blethering. Really chilled and enjoyable :-)
Out for 3-50 total...

Balmoral for Running the Highlands - shorter loop, pleasant pace and lovely day - cold, sunny. Only downside was not doing the Albert Cairn loop so no view of Lochnagar (or maybe the cloud ON Lochnagar ;-)
Left calf totally fine.
Did 5 mins of running drills after with Willie R and no problems.

Run with MD at Aonach Mor. Some lovely ground and great corries, mostly pretty decent going underfoot but a bit squelchy in bits!

Then regretted exercises when lots of glute work in the session :-)

After-school running club, Aboyne Castle grounds, kids did some some intervals then back thru woods and some strides between lampposts. Joined in on strides and calf was OK - barely aware of it.
